'Frequently Assembled Questions'
We are located at 26 Godstone Road, Caterham. 45 mins by train from London Bridge. We are in Surrey but also technically London.
Yes, absolutely! Morrisons is a 3-5 minute walk away and you can park there for up to 3 hours. There is also street parking over the road, round the corner and in town which is available for 1 hour free no return. Or it is free after 5pm and on Sundays. There is also a Lidl nearby which is two hours.
We charge a flat rate of £5 per hour per seat. Even non builders. We have discounts for midweek homeschoolers and after school visits but weekends we are pay per seat per animal.
Our most popular session are 2 hours long. People who tend to book for one hour always stay longer (we’re just that place you don’t want to leave!)
If you sort your pieces before hand in our sorting box, it could take you 10-20 seconds to place one piece. So around 150-250 pieces an hour. The 18+ sets are more complicated.
James probably takes an hour to build 300 pieces of an 18+ set. He’s an organised builder.
Claire probably takes an hour to build 200 pieces of a 9+ set because she’s a space cadet and a chaotic builder.
We’ve found that allowing one set per table helps keep pieces organised and ensures there are enough sets for everyone to enjoy. It also helps maintain a calm and clutter-free space.
Absolutely! Just return your current set to a team member, and we’ll happily exchange it for a new one (subject to availability).
We try to stagger entry and bookings to allow for extra time but if it is a very busy day, we might not be able to have you stay longer. We might be able to move you to another table should yours be booked. Or we might have time later on so you can come back to finish your build. We will do what we can to support you! No one likes to leave an unbuilt set!
Yes, we are! We are an old building but have done what we can to be accessible with a narrow front door. We have a small ramp down from the door and an accessible toilet. It’s just the party room that has one step at the front but it can be accessed via the back as there is a ramp there too.
Definitely! Our café is designed for everyone, families, friends, and adult LEGO® lovers alike.
Don’t worry, just let one of our staff know. We keep spare pieces and can often replace them.
We are proud to be for children and adults of all ages. LEGO® is incredible and beneficial to all. We have different seats which will appeal to anyone! We have Duplo® for babies and toddlers and have adult ones too!
If you are having takeaway, absolutely you can. We also have a table by the door which can be used when quiet but if we are busy (so on weekends) we can’t have dogs come in. If you do bring your dog in when it’s quiet, please keep it by your table and do not walk the dog through the cafe. We have children visiting who might be scared.
Yes! We are doing adult only sessions on either a Friday or a Saturday evening. Please check out the website to find out which day we are open!
We will absolutely! We are putting the final touches to these as we type this.
Absolutely! Prices for this will be available soon!
To keep sets complete and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that you stick to one set at a time and avoid mixing pieces.
